Law Enforcement
Law enforcement services are provided by the Wood County Sheriff's Office. You can learn about their services by visiting woodcountysheriff.com. Here, you can also search for sex offenders in your area and register to receive email alerts. Just follow the steps below:

• Offender Search: From the home page, click the 'Sex Offenders' link on the menu at the left side (under Services). On the next page, click 'Search for Offenders in Your Area' link at the top. From here, enter your address information and hit the 'Search' button.
• Email Alerts: After clicking on 'Sex Offenders' from the main page, click on the 'Register for Email Alerts' link at the top of the page. Enter your address information and click the 'Register' button. You will then receive emails when there is a new offender in Wood County that is within a one mile radius of your home.
